He fused a coalition of determined authoritarians drawn from fringe Evangelical groups, White ultra-nationalists, and the ultra-wealthy hell-bent on becoming even more wealthy.
Donald Trump’s success has been in controlling the narrative. He does this by posting tweets continuously between 1 PM and 4 AM every day. He created his own Twitter clone after he was banned for glorifying violence. He created Truthsocial.com. Trump’s sometimes-ally, Elon Musk, later purchased Twitter to convert it into a “free-speech” media outlet for those of Trump’s ilk.
Truth Social is said to be the free-speech alternative to traditional social media. However, history will show that Truth Social is simply the primary propaganda organ of the Trump Empire.
